Michael Korman, B.A., LL.B., is a Canadian Barrister & Solicitor and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Michael's area of expertise is Canadian Immigration law, with particular emphasis on refugee claims to the Refugee Protection Division and appeals of immigration officers' decisions to the Immigration Appeal Division. He also appears regularly in the Federal Court of Canada on judicial review applications. Over the years, many of Michael's appeal cases have been cited in various Canadian Law Journals, including the Immigration Law Reporter. Michael has lectured on Canadian Immigration law at the College level and has given numerous seminars on the topic to community organizations in and around Toronto. He has also written a number of articles on key issues in the field of Canadian Immigration Law.
Elyse Korman, B.A., J.D., is a Canadian Barrister & Solicitor and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Elyse assists clients in all aspects of Canadian immigration law, with an emphasis on refugee law matters. Elyse represents clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and has developed particular expertise in appellate matters before the Refugee Appeal Division and the Federal Court of Canada. Elyse currently acts as counsel on over 100 appellate cases every year. She also acts in connection with all aspects of Canadian immigration law, including Humanitarian and Compassionate applications and PRRA applications.
In 2017, Elyse was awarded the Lexpert Zenith Award for Women in Law to recognize her advocacy on behalf of refugee claimants in Canada.

Amanda D’Angelo is a licensed paralegal and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Amanda represents clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Amanda also assists with the preparation of various immigration applications such as Family Sponsorships, Permanent Residence applications for Protected Persons, applications for Humanitarian and Compassionate Considerations and Pre-Removal Risk Assessments (PRRA).

Our legal assistant, Mabel Rojas is the backbone of our firm. She has extensive experience assisting refugee claimants and prospective immigrants. Ms. Rojas is also able to provide services in Spanish. Services in other languages are provided through our network of translators and interpreters.
